The Karnataka State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (K-SET) is being conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority and the online application process will start from September 10. Now a short notification has been released as directed by the government.
K SET exam is scheduled on 5th November 2023.
The notification will be issued on September 5. An information book will also be published on the same day. The Executive Director of Karnataka Examination Authority S. Ramya said in a statement. A total of 41 subjects of science and humanities will be examined. KEA is conducting this test for the first time.

KSET Exam Pattern
KSET exam is conducted for total 300 marks.
Paper-1 (Common Paper for all students): For 100 Marks.
Paper-2 (Subject Paper) : For 200 Marks
Eligibility to apply for KSET Examination
General category and unreserved candidates must have passed with 55% marks in any post graduation.
Other Backward Classes Candidates, Economically Backward Classes Candidates, SC/ST, PWD Candidates should pass with 50% marks.
Candidates who are studying in the first year, second year of Master’s degree or who have written the exam and are waiting for the result can apply.
What is the age eligibility?
There is no age limit to apply for Karnataka State Lecturer Eligibility Test.
