It has been clarified in the guidelines that the ration card families who have given their bank account information will get money in the month of August. The government has said that the bank account information should be given at the fair price shop itself. Beneficiaries of Antyodaya Annabhagya Yojana (AAY) and Priority Ration Card (PHH) who do not have Aadhaar linked, do not have an active bank account and do not have bank e-KYC, the Deputy Director of Food Department has directed to rectify them. It is said that the transfer of food grains and cash will be temporarily suspended from the month of August for the ration card holders who have not done e-KYC.

How to check e-KYC status?
Step 1: First go to the official website of the Food Supply Department and click here
Here click on the district link of your section, for example if your district is Haveri then select the third link. As shown below
Step 2- Here on the left hand side select the option ‘Ration Card Details’
Step 3- Then here you will see two option select with out OTP option then enter your ration card number and click on Go
Step 4- Here the complete status of your ration card will appear, here you will notice that in the ekyc Remaining field the number will show if the ekyc of your household member is not available.
