Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services as per the scheme guidelines 2021-22 on behalf of the Central Government for Entrepreneurship Development Program under the National Livestock Mission Scheme,
Applications are invited for implementation of the following entrepreneurial programs from non-affiliated individuals, farmer producer organizations, joint liabilities groups, self-help societies, Section (8) Tadi registered companies from Bangalore.
Establishment of a farm of 1000 low quality chicken breeds of mother hens, hatchery, brooding of brood hens and rearing unit in rural poultry farming system.
Establishment of 500 female, 25 male sheep/goat breeding units and production of sheep/goat kids.
100 sow, 10 male pig breeding unit started for production and fattening of piglets.
Fodder jaggery/juice fodder unit and T.M.R. Promotion of animal feed and fodder production by encouraging entrepreneurs to set up units.
Expressions of interest will be scrutinized, evaluated and a list of eligible beneficiaries will be prepared based on eligibility. Assistance will be provided under the National Livestock Mission scheme subject to availability of funds.
A back ended subsidy of 50% will be released by SIDBI to the beneficiaries in two equal installments up to the subsidy ceiling mentioned for each scheme.
