E-Shrama Card Full Details
The central government launched the e-Shram portal on August 26 with the aim of collecting the full information of the workers in the unorganized sector. More than one crore workers have already registered in this portal.
The Ministry of Labor and Employment will issue a 12-digit unique identification e-labor card to workers registered with the e-labor portal. The card will help workers take advantage of social security schemes. It has a lifetime validity. One card is enough to take advantage of all projects.

Unorganized sector workers, including building workers, street vendors, agricultural laborers aged 16 to 59, can register on the e-labor portal and benefit from various government schemes.
