EPFO: Good news for PF account holders, check your account balance today
EPFO: The Futures Fund, which tweeted about it, said that 8.50 per cent interest has been paid out of 22.55 crore accounts for the financial year 2020-21. If you are also a PF account holder, you can check your account balance by applying any of the procedures outlined below.
New Delhi: EPFO - If you belong to an employee category and have a PF account, this news is for you. Employee Futures Fund Organization (EPFO), which cuts PF, has transferred interest money to an employee’s account. This will benefit more than 6 crore employees.
Interest money in the account
For the financial year 2021-22, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has transferred 8.50 per cent interest to the account of 22.55 crore PF account holders. Recently, the Central Provident Fund Organization has tweeted that “8.50 per cent interest has been deposited in 22.55 crore accounts for the financial year 2020-21”. If you are also a PF account holder, you can check your account balance by following any of the procedures outlined below.
Learn Balance from Missed Call (Check PF Balance)
To check your PF money, you must give a Missed Call to 011-22901406 from a registered mobile number. After this, you can get the details of PF through EPFO message. Here you need your UAN PAN card and Aadhaar link.
Check Balance Online (PF Account Balance)
1. To check the balance online, you must log in to the EPFO website. Click on e-Passbook at epfindia.gov.in
2. When you click on the e-passbook, a new page will appear, passbook.epfindia.gov.in.
3. Now fill in the username (UAN number), password and captcha here
4. After filling in all the details, a new page pops up. Here you have to select the member ID.
5. You can find your EPF Ballance in the e-Passbook.
You can check balance in UMANG App (PF Account)
1. For this, open your UMANG application (New-age Governance) and click on EPFO.
2. Now on another page, click on employee-centric services.
3. Click the View Passbook here. In addition, fill in your UAN number and password (OTP) number.
4. OTP comes to your registered mobile number. After this you can check your PF balance.
Check balance via SMS
If your UAN number is registered with the EPFO, you can get information about your PF balance by message. For this, EPFOHO should be sent to 7738299899. After this you will get PF information by message.
