The state government made the KPSC amendment bill in the session on Friday. The amendment bill, which is scheduled to drop two optional issues of the main exam, continues with a preliminary examination of 400 marks.
Since the two optional exams are out of hand, the total points are down from 1750 to 1250. In addition, the 200 personality test scores were reduced to 50. Now these points have been reduced from 50 to 25. The personality interview will be for only 25 points.
New Delhi, Feb 19: The Union Lok Sabha Commission (UPSC) has increased the number of civil service posts to 1,011 this year, after six years the number of UPSC recruiting posts crossed the 1,000 mark.
The UPSC has issued a notification in this regard and the number of 861 notified posts has now been increased to 1,011.
The government has decided to hire 150 staff in the Indian Railway Management Service, Group ‘A’ through Civil Service Examination -2022, the UPSC said in a notification.”The temporary number of vacancies, 861, has now been changed to 1011 as indicated in the Examination Notice dated February 02, 2022.”
The decision comes as the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), through Civil Service Examination, has added an additional 150 posts to the recruitment of Group ‘A’ officers.
In line with this, the government (Department of Personnel and Training) has issued a notification to add IRMS, Group ‘A’ to the list of services for recruitment through the Civil Services Examination -2022.
